National Monument of Culture of the Czech Republic
The Schwigov Castle is a medieval Gothic water castle in the town of Schwigov in the Klatovy region of the Plzensky region of the Czech Republic. It was founded at the end of the XIII century by the pans Švigovskis from Ryzmberk and completely rebuilt at the end of the XV century in the late Gothic style. Along with the castles of Blatna and Červená L'got, the castle of Švigov belongs to the three best-preserved water castles of the Czech Republic. In 2001, the castle was listed as a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
