Merchants Ryazanov - Ural merchant clan, merchants of the first guild, Old Believers, gold miners. At the end of the 18th century, they became the largest producers of animal fats in Yekaterinburg: raw materials for candle making, soap making, cloth, and pharmaceutical production.
The Big Ryazanov House (Kuibyshev, 40-42) began to build Terenty Merkuryevich Ryazanov (1776–1828) in 1815–1818. At first the house was one-story. His son Terentiy Aniky (1800–1857) completed his work. At this time, the existing two-storey house was erected, in which MP M. Pukov took part in the construction and decoration. Malakhov. Later a greenhouse was attached to the house and a garden was laid out. By the end of the 50s, the manor was completely ready. In its composition, the central part stood out - a complex of residential and auxiliary buildings, the most representative of which — the main house and the outbuildings — were brought to the red line of the street in accordance with the town-planning principles of the beginning of the XIX century.
In the restaurant "Ryazanov" dishes are prepared according to the recipes of classic Russian cuisine of the XIX century in the author's performance of the chef.
