The open-air cinema Cine Paris was opened by a Greek barber who lived in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century and became the first Athenian cinema.
The cinema is located in the most picturesque area of Athens: from the cinema hall there is an amazing view of the Acropolis illuminated by lights. The improvised hall among the trees, the fresh air, the starry sky, the chatter of grasshoppers are what can make watching a movie in Cine Paris even more romantic.
Smoking during the session is viewed quite democratically, a bar and a souvenir shop work here, where you can buy posters of old films and movies. Today they show both blockbusters and old classics. As a rule, in Greece do not change the original sound of the film, and impose local subtitles.
The cinema is open from May to October.
