During the days of European music days in Athens, something extraordinary is happening on the streets of the city - the streets are filled with music, and all the people are dancing! And not only Athens dances, more than thirty Greek cities take part in the festival annually. This event takes place across the country. More than five hundred groups and performers from around the world and more than two hundred thousand spectators, or more precisely listeners, take direct part in the festival in Athens every year. The atmosphere of the festival is truly indescribable: music - the universal language of communication - connects all people of the earth in a single creative impulse, regardless of whether a person speaks English, Greek or any other language. During the day of European music, broadcasts of musical events often take place in Europe itself, for example, not so long ago at the festival, the opera “Tosca” by Giacomo Puccini was broadcast online. Festivals in Greece are very popular among tourists.
