The Palace of Water Sports has become one of the most important objects of the 2013 Summer Universiade. Today, this indoor sports complex holds a variety of competitions, as well as training in swimming, synchronized swimming and diving. In 2015, the Palace became the competitive arena of the World Aquatics Championship.
The feature of the object is a lifting bottom installed in the jumping and competitive pools. With this technology, the depth of the pool can be changed at any time, depending on the activities.
The capacity of the complex is 4200 spectators. In addition to the competition, it is also used as a universal sports palace, as it has a fitness center, a medical office, a martial arts hall, and a separate pool for free swimming.
