Scallop, he Yarilina mountain - a historic place in Nizhny Novgorod on a mountain on the right steep bank of the Oka. It is a small plateau of Dyatlovy mountains, bounded on all sides by scree steep cliffs. The ancient Nizhny Novgorod celebrated here first celebrations in honor of the pagan sun god - Yarily, and then celebrated the Kupala days. Until the middle of the XIX century, the mountain was called Yarilina or Yariloy.
