Barnsdall Art Park is a city park located in the eastern part of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Access to car parks and art buildings is from Hollywood Boulevard on the north side of the park. The park is a Los Angeles Historical and Cultural Monument and an object of the Department of Cultural Affairs of the city of Los Angeles. Aline Barnsdall donated Barnsdall Park to the city of Los Angeles for artistic and entertainment purposes, including the preservation of historic architecture and landscape features. The Barnsdall Art Park Hotel is located on the crest of Olive Hill. It overlooks the city of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills, including Griffith Park. In the center of the park are the house of Barlisdol Hollyhock, designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, a national historical monument, a historical and cultural monument of Los Angeles and the National Register of Historic Places in Los Angeles.
