The Nymphenburg Palace is located in the west of Munich in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. Its construction was initiated by the decree of Elector Ferdinand Maria, architect Agostino Barelli in 1664 and completed in 1675, after which the castle was expanded several times. Originally the palace was built in the Baroque style. The palace is listed in the Bavarian Sights. Inside the palace of interest: The Great Hall in the Rococo style, decorated with frescoes of Zimmerman; the famous Gallery of beauties with portraits of 36 of the most beautiful European women by Shtiler; Lacquer cabinet with black and red lacquered Chinese panels.
