Tyso-samshitovaya Grove is a relic forest on the eastern slope of Mount Akhun in the city of Sochi, 2.5 km from the Black Sea coast. Monument of ancient nature. Declared a reserve in 1931. Its area is 302 hectares. The grove is part of the Caucasus Nature Reserve and the Sochi National Park. Administratively located in the neighborhood of Khosta, Khostinsky district of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar region, Russia.
The yew-box grove is a kind of living museum, the repository of relict vegetation, which has remained here in almost unchanged form since prehistoric times.
