What is a castle? This is a three-story fort, built directly on the rock protruding from the sea. Its total area is 30 thousand m2. The construction of a square shape in length and width reaches 28 m.
In the three corners of the square are located round defensive towers with loopholes. These are the towers of St. Christoph, Moguwer and St. Jaume.
Between the bastions lay a spacious open terrace. Under it is a two-level courtyard-well, covered with walls on all sides. On the lower tier, which is cut in the rock itself, cameras are placed, and on the upper tier - casemates. In the cave there are also kitchen and storage rooms. An old oak well with a chain and a tub is perfectly preserved to this day. It can be found in the very center of the courtyard.
To the right of the main entrance to the castle are the "Voban barracks". In the past, these were guard houses that housed personnel. Also in the castle there is a lighthouse and a church.
