The fire tower is one of the tallest buildings of pre-revolutionary Omsk: its height is 32 meters with a flagpole. The tower was built in 1914-1915 by the project of the famous city architect I.G. Hvorinova on the site of the wooden calanche of the Second Omsk Fire Department that had become useless. At the base of the tower was the flat of the fire house (commander of the fire station) and the garage for the fire wagon.
