Alkimia is a restaurant marked by an honorable Michelin star and very convenient to visit: it is located next to the biggest Barcelona landmark, the legendary Sagrada Familia. Let the gourmets not bewildered by the minimalist design of the small home institution Alkimia. The restaurant "Alchemy" was opened in Barcelona in 2002, but already now resolutely comes on the heels of the legendary Catalan restaurant El Bulli Ferran Adrià - by the way, from 2006 to 2009, occupying the first place in the list of the best restaurants in the world. In this case, the Barcelona "alchemy" offers compared to El Bulli where the most economical prices and much larger portions of delicious dishes. The average bill is 80 euros, which is not so much for restaurants with Michelin stars. In fact, here you can have a great lunch and for 30-40 euros. This is where young Catalan chef Jordi Vilà creates, who has received a Michelin star for masterpieces of molecular cuisine. In this modern and stylish in all respects restaurant you will try traditional Catalan dishes in completely unexpected treatments. This flight of imagination. The restaurant’s hits are blue soup with oysters, caviar and basil “Sea inside” (Mar Adentro). Fried eggs with fresh truffle. Great desserts.
