A young chef from London opened two steps from Plaça de Catalunya to La Esquina Coffee & Kitchen and immediately gained popularity among local food and coffee lovers. This often happens in Barcelona, that you are standing in the very center and do not understand where to go for breakfast, where to drink coffee, sit with a book, make an appointment with a friend or another hour to work on a laptop. Like so many places, but nothing comes to mind. Now you have that very optimal institution, where it is tasty, cozy, beautiful and you are greeted with a smile at any time of the day from 9 am until late evening. We add only that the guys salted themselves salmon, pickled cucumbers and bake pies. Spacious room, coffee machine La Marzocco, fresh flowers in vases, a large common table in front of the bar. On the menu are brunch of poached eggs with avocado, dill and goat cheese, sandwich with provolone and meatballs, eggs Benedict, quinoa salad and lots of fresh pastries. For dinner, a pie stuffed with trout and potatoes, burrata with pumpkin puree, roast beef, pasta with mushrooms, pickled chicken and much more, the choice is great. Meals cost from 6 to 12 euros. There is the option of a set meal for 16 euros of two courses, dessert and drink.
