La Fontaine de Mars is one of the oldest restaurants in Paris. Its owners, Jacques and Christian Budon, managed to create an amazing combination of the never-ending, even on Sundays, bar and cozy restaurant where you can while away the evening in a small company. On the first floor the fun is buzzing until the morning, justifying its name "fountain". On the second floor there are two small and halls, where it is much quieter, but also the atmosphere of fun and home comfort is maintained. Couples in love can retire on the open terraces, which offers a magnificent view of the city. La Fontaine de Mars is a great place for a weekend getaway. Parisians gather here by large companies and whole families to socialize and eat tasty food. Restaurant's specialty is duck. Here it is cooked simply divinely.
