In the very center of the Gothic Quarter on the square in front of the Cathedral there is the Taverna del Bisbe restaurant, where since 1972 they have been preparing traditional Catalan dishes and tapas of meat and seafood. Try the local tortilla omelette, bravas, and baked escalives. If you do not want to spend a lot, on weekdays from 13-00 to 16-00, come here for a set meal for 12 euros, consisting of two dishes to choose from, a drink and a dessert. In addition to this option, there is a large selection of tapas snacks, the opportunity to order paella and individual à la carte dishes from meat, fish and fish. Do not forget that paella will be cooked for about half an hour, and dishes from the complex lunch will be brought almost immediately. Before entering the restaurant there is a spacious open terrace, where it is pleasant to drink wine, gazing at the crowds of passing tourists. Inside is a beautiful interior in belle epoque style. Great place for an inexpensive lunch after visiting the Cathedral.
