Rejoice tuna fans, a restaurant has opened in Barcelona, completely dedicated to the dishes from this delicious and super healthy fish. The owners of the restaurant have their own sea farms, where they cultivate tuna, so only the most selective and the freshest toro tuna comes to the restaurant’s kitchen, each weighing about 100 kg. The cooking of the Japanese part of the Tunateki menu lies on the shoulders of the famous Japanese chef Hideki Matsuhisa from the famous Michelin-starred Koy Shunka restaurant. European recipes are fueled by Marc Miró from La Llotja (l’Ámetlla de Mar). Sashimi, nigiri, tataki, tare tare and other delicacies based on various parts of the tuna, including cheeks. The area of the restaurant is 300 m2, but we still recommend booking a table in advance, as the place is extremely popular.
