The singing bridge across the river Moika connects the Kazan and the 2nd Admiralty Islands. It was built in 1839-40 by the project of engineer E. A. Adam on the site of a wooden beam bridge built in 1834.
The span is blocked by a jointless cast-iron tubing arch. Supports rubble masonry with granite cladding. The main decoration of the bridge is a cast-iron openwork lattice.
The length of the Singing Bridge is about 24 meters, width - 72 meters. This is the fourth widest bridge in St. Petersburg after Kazan, Pharmaceutical and Blue.
