Red Stone is a nature monument near the village of Krasnokamenka above Gurzuf. It is made of marble-like limestone, similar to how the Komsomolskaya station of the Moscow Metro is faced.
Here, in the area of the Red Stone, the only place in the Crimea where the grapes grow, from which the world's best dessert drink is produced - the White Nutmeg of the Red Stone.
The ottorzhenets hill rises above the slope (about 500 m), forming a natural bastion, from which a wide view opens. This was used in antiquity: the ruins of a medieval observation post remained on the top of the Red Stone.
