The exposition of the Museum of Sports Glory Sochi contains more than three hundred exhibits related to the achievements of renowned Sochi athletes, including Olympic champions Vladimir Kondra, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, Dmitry Ilinykh and Alexey Voevoda.
The idea, which served as the starting point for the creation of the Museum of Sports Glory of Sochi, goes beyond the limits of the museum project exclusively, taking a step forward towards the formation of a new cultural and educational space in the city. From the very beginning, the museum assumed the function of not only the exhibition hall, but also one of the leading centers of social and cultural life. Sharing the accumulated knowledge, it not only exhibits cultural values, but is also a place where the incoming information of sports and Olympic subjects is constantly accumulated, studied and popularized.
Today, the museum has organized and constantly operates the exhibition “Moscow - Sochi: philately under the sign of the five rings”, which introduces visitors to a unique philatelic collection dedicated to two domestic Olympiads.
